Yes — you must be 18 or older, and a valid passport, EU ID card or driving licence is required. No exceptions. This is Dutch law and a condition of our licence.
Yes. We accept debit cards, credit cards and contactless / NFC payments. Cash is welcome too.
Every day, 08:00 – 01:00. Same hours seven days a week. The earliest open coffeeshop in Oud-West, and one of the latest closing — 17 hours a day, every day.
Our regulars are locals from Oud-West, but visitors are very welcome — Polish, Spanish, French, Italian, English-speaking guests all leave five-star reviews about the crew. We're a small, relaxed lounge, not a tourist factory. Walk in, take it easy.
Yes. Coffeeshop 96 is LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safe space. Everyone is treated the same — that's the rule, not a slogan.
5 grams per person per day. This is the legal limit for coffeeshops in the Netherlands and it is enforced.
Yes — we have an indoor lounge with brown leather seating, the marble counter, and the back-wall mural. It's cozy and small. There's also a small outdoor terrace with a couple of café chairs on the street side.
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available. Ask at the counter for the password.
Yes — the entrance is wheelchair accessible. If you need anything specific, give us a call ahead and we'll make sure it's set up.
No. Dutch law doesn't permit coffeeshops to sell tobacco products. Tobacco use is not permitted indoors per Dutch law. Staff can show you tobacco-free options at the counter.
The full in-store menu is at the counter — ask our staff for today's selection. We don't publish the menu online by choice. Walk in, say hello, the crew will sort you out.
The space, the mural, the counter — please do. Don't photograph staff or other guests without their permission. This is a small lounge — privacy matters.
